Authentification Migration!
Here at Equinox, our mission is to create launch experiences that are intriguing, entertaining, engaging, and educational. We’re community-driven and highly secure — and we want to be the best.
We believe everyone has the right to transparency, equality, and opportunity.
But we also know that things need continuous work to improve the experience for users.
We know some of our users haven’t received emails under our current passwordless authentication system on Equinox.
So, for that reason, we’re migrating from a passwordless connection to a login/password connection.
The migration will happen on Monday 22 November, at 6am UTC. During the migration, the website will be under maintenance and therefore temporarily offline.
After the migration, new users can just sign up and start using Equinox right away, but existing users will need to go to app.equinox.fund and click on ‘Log In.’
Existing users should then use the ‘forgot password’ option to create a new password for their account.
1) Click on ‘Forgot password.’
2) Type in the email address that you used to sign up with Equinox.
3) You will receive an email, prompting you to reset your password. Of course, the system was previously passwordless so this step will create a new password for you.
4) Choose a new password. For security reasons, we request that you choose a password with at least 8 characters (including at least one special character and one number).
5) When you’ve done that, close the current tab and open a new one. Navigate to app.equinox.fund again and log in with your new password.
That’s it — you’re all set!
