During her metaverse travels, Nox made contact with the Light Bringers, a coalition of ancient beings dedicated to uplifting communities and protecting blockchain technology across the metaverse and the multiverse.

The Light Bringers have heard her calls and are sending their best to free the people of Earth from the tyranny of those that want to suppress blockchain technology and subjugate humanity.

The Crypto Alien Babes are on their way.

The Project

Crypto Alien Babes (CABs) is a collection of unique two-dimensional Japanese anime characters that will transform the way people look at NFTs. Instead of the typical run of 10,000 randomly generated characters that offer little more than speculative plays on OpenSea, CABs will only have 1,111 unique characters designed to earn royalties for whoever owns them.

The collection combines incredible artwork and fantastic utility that will both improve the look of your wallet.

CABs is the brainchild of the prodigious talent Starseed and her phenomenal team of creatives. They’re striving to build an Alien Nation that rewards its members for being a valuable part of the community.

Current Problem

The primary model for NFT projects is to generate thousands of animated characters of different rarities, then release them to the market en masse and let the new holders create a speculative market. The market has become very derivative with untold numbers of “punks” and “apes” and has the feel of the 2017 ICO mania where everything got a token.

There is a lot of good artwork out there, but there’s even more junk. And there is rarely any utility beyond the buying and selling.

The Potential of NFTs

NFTs are incredible feats of technology, and the surface of their potential is barely scratched. Tracking ownership from genesis to the present and proving actual ownership of something opens doors to possibilities that were only dreamed of in the past.

The biggest boon is for artists. Instead of intensely laboring to create something then just releasing it into the collective void for a one-time payment, they can now program revenue streams into their artwork and get a small royalty for every resale. The trope of the starving artist will become a thing of the past.

But it doesn’t stop there. NFTs are also an excellent tool for building a community around art. What if the NFTs were also programmed to give royalties to every current owner? They’d become a hot item with a devout following pretty quickly.

Starseed created Crypto Alien Babes with this exact thing in mind. The project’s two primary goals are:

Create the highest quality Japanese anime art
Generate recurring royalties and opportunities for the owners, the community, and the artists.

The art already released on the Discord is stunning. The level of artistry is world-class. Along with the script for the first two anime episodes.

The tricky part is finding a way to create a recurring royalty stream separate from typical market forces.

The CAB Anime Solution

CAB is programming resale royalties into all 1,111 NFTs, but the team knows that whilst the tokenomics will probably drive the pricing of the CABs high, the resales of the relatively low supply won’t be a sustainable way to generate consistent revenue. So, they’ll be adding another facet to the project.

The team will be creating an anime series based on the CABs’ ongoing fight against dark forces to generate interest in the project and create a separate funding source. The episodes will be released every 6 weeks and will be minted as NFTs.

The creators make each episode of the series a power-up for the project and ensure ongoing revenue flows for the CAB owners and creators by:

Minting each anime episode as a limited edition NFT and auctioning it off, with existing CAB owners always getting the first opportunity to purchase.
Continually generating increased interest in the project and the original 1,111 NFTs, causing the resale values of the characters to appreciate.
Creating ongoing royalty rewards without further investment from the CAB owners.
Driving ongoing revenues for the DAO-driven community.
Making CABs featured in each episode of the anime series more valuable.
Building community engagement with each anime release.

CAB NFT Holder Benefits and Royalties

CAB RESALE ROYALTIES — Total 5% (after OpenSea takes their 2.5% commission)

NOTE: These benefits transfer to the new owner if/when you sell. Benefits are payable to the owner of record at 12:00pm BST on the 25th of each month.

60% of the royalty (3% of total sales) will go to CAB owners, 20% of the royalty (1% of total sales) will go to the Space Community Pool, and 20% of the royalties (1% of total sales) will go to creators and team to incentivize them to create more greatness for our community.

SHORT ANIME ANIMATIONS — both original mint and resales, Total 5% (after OpenSea takes their 2.5% commission)

We are creating a high-quality anime series to further the CAB brand. Each short episode is a story based on the CABs’ ongoing fight against the evil dark forces that rule and will be released in 6-week intervals.

These are centered around crypto culture and the ongoing struggles we have with governments, FUD, big business, etc. They will be released on a dedicated YouTube channel and also put up on OpenSea and/or other platforms as highly sought-after limited editions. Royalties will be distributed in the same manner as the CAB Anime characters.

Animation royalties will be distributed in the same manner as the CAB resale royalties:

This means, at regular intervals, we will have an ongoing flow of revenues for owners, the community, and creators. These payments will be made to the owner of record at 12:00pm BST, on the 25th of each month.

Each Alien Babe has fierce fighting qualities and possesses random rarity features such as secret identities, personalities, and superpowers. There will even be super rare CABs.

Their main mission is to fight for the freedom of enslaved Earthlings. Each gorgeous Alien will grant you powers to attend special online and real-world events, Starseed drops, membership to locked areas on Discord, and lots more.

222 CABs are available via exclusive whitelist on the CAB Discord server. If you want to get whitelisted, you need to be active in the Discord chat, invite others to the group, and generally add value to the community.

The whitelist window runs from 25 Oct 2021 to 15 Nov 2021, and no payment is required. Being on the whitelist will give you the ability to mint your CAB 24 hours before the public sale.

All Equinox NFT holders get a second chance to be a part of this ascended community. 528 CABs will be available for Equinox NFT holders to purchase via the Equinox platform in mid-November.

The CAB NFT is minting on the Ethereum blockchain. Once you’ve minted, a CAB egg will be transferred to OpenSea on 19 Nov 2021 for incubation. You can connect your Ethereum wallet to OpenSea to check on your egg once the transfer is complete.

The CAB reveal is scheduled for 25 Nov 2021.
