Another Game-Changing Launch
Another Equinox IDO launch enters the history books, and what a great launch it was. The multi-chain GameFi launchpad, GameStation, has taken a major step toward bringing incredible Play-to-Earn games to the community and empowering game developers.
We can’t wait to see the gaming ecosystem become more inclusive and give the power back to the creators and players!
We are very grateful to everyone who took part in helping us bring the launch to life. With the help of Grow Events, Nox was able to host another fantastic show from her Metaverse home of Planet Nox.
The launch included a unique blend of art, technology, audience participation, and music that was free for all to attend. The ten-word treasure hunt during the show received a lot of positive feedback from members, with over 500 forms submitted for the lottery. And DJ Nox and our wonderful community performers, Unheard Of and Darkoski, felt the love from their fellow Equinauts for their performances.
The numbers tell us we’re not the only ones who enjoyed the show. The streaming video had 367 concurrent live viewers at its peak, with a total watch time of ~225 hours. The video has also been played back nearly 17,000 times.
The sights, sounds, and camaraderie were awesome to behold!
Launch Party Summary
We teamed up with GROW Events to coordinate the launch show and ensure everything ran smoothly. The event featured:
- Different virtual worlds, including an indoor futuristic Welcome Lounge and outdoor space stages from Planet NOX.
- An introduction to Equinox and GameStation by Nox, the symbol of our platform.
- Incredible live painting and music set by community members Darkoski and Unheard Of, followed by a closing set from DJ Nox.
The Project: GameStation
GameStation is a new, gamified launchpad platform with a focus on play-to-earn blockchain games. The project connects game developers with gamers to help build incredible community-driven products and put creative control in the right hands.
Built on the Polygon network, the platform drives GameFi forward with gamified participation and fundraising, an incorporated NFT marketplace, and a community focus. The native token, $GAMER, powers the platform and opens access to private sales, trading, and creating and participating in community events.
The Equinox Contribution
Before the IDO, the Equinox team worked with GameStation to get the word out and let the community know: Play-to-Earn gaming and crowdfunded game development are the way of the future. We hosted an AMA in the Equinox Telegram with GameStation CEO, Jason Kovar, to answer questions and emphasize the real-world importance of this project. We also created multiple bespoke videos and articles to share across our social media channels, as well as informative tweets that collectively garnered thousands of views.
