The Project

The creators of Battleverse are dedicated to creating a fun, varied, play-to-earn game that puts the community first. This commitment is one of many reasons it was labeled a top 3 project at the BSC GameFi Hackathon. You’ll be able to play Battleverse as an online game available on your browser, or and as an app on both IOS and Android.

In the game, players travel through many wild regions and territories to fight and capture unique combative creatures. By utilizing the in-game token, users can conquer and develop territories, breed and upgrade characters, start fights, go on missions, and even earn through betting.

The Current Problem

In the Play-to-Earn space, there is a stereotyped belief that the games just aren’t that good. Graphics are basic at best, in-game universes are small, gameplay opportunities are limited, and many users still feel like their voices aren’t being heard. Tokens in these games are often unstable and quickly rendered useless, and players are limited by the chain options.

The team at Battleverse knew there had to be another way.

Battleverse’s Solution

This confidence in the power of Play-to-Earn and blockchain gaming is what inspired the team to create Battleverse. The graphics are great, the characters are unique, and the game is still easily accessible and fun for users of all abilities. There are a range of gameplay options including battling other players, battling the environment, in-game construction, mining, farming, and a whole host of other possibilities.

But in addition to the great gaming experience, Battleverse has a unique two-token system. One token is for normal transactions/rewards, and the project token can be staked for rewards, giving players more of a say in the community.

The in-game token is a stable coin pegged at $0.01, which makes it easy to calculate costs and eradicate concerns about speculation and volatility.

Another unique feature is the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), which Battleverse has employed to give users a say in what happens within the game. The Battleverse project was sparked by a desire to make a collectible NFT game that was open, transparent, and governed by the community, which is why the DAO is so central to what they’re creating.

In order to vote and have their say, users must hold some $BVC. This allows them to elect council members and have a say in changes to operations and technical changes. Battleverse has even included a failsafe to ensure that holders with more currency don’t monopolize the whole system. By incorporating quadratic voting, Battleverse is ensuring a fairer system in which more people are heard.

Battleverse is built on the Polygon Network to ensure players have access to all the associated perks, like Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility, low fees, and fast transactions. But the game will also be multi-chain, so that it is accessible to more players.
